Dr. Calvin Day
Dr. Calvin Day is Board Certified in Mohs Surgery and in Dermatology. He received his general dermatology training in the Harvard Dermatology Program under Thomas B. Fitzpatrick M.D. from 1978-1981, his dermatopathology training in the Harvard Dermatopatholgy Program under Martin C. Mihm, Jr., M.D. from 1981-1982, and his Mohs Surgery training under Dr. Perry Robins at NYU Medical Center from 1982-1983. Since opening his private practice in San Antonio TX in 1983, Dr. Day has cared for more than 40,000 patients and has performed over 27,000 Mohs procedures. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Day taught skin surgery to the dermatology residents at The University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio, where he was Clinical Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) from 1990-2011. Dr. Day has co-authored more 60 articles on skin cancer in professional publications. Dr. Day’s work has been used by others writers as a reference in other professional publications more than 6800 times as per Google Scholar.
